It's FriYAY! Who wants to join me this weekend and relax on a quilt in a pretty field of flowers? Doesn't that sound heavenly? In reality, I'll be trying to finish up some projects and probably starting 100 new ones. What project is on your list next?

We set out to pick berries, but they weren’t ripe, so we settled for honeysuckle instead. And then she insisted we buy our own honeysuckle plant from the garden center. So we did. And that my friends is the story of, “If You Give a Girl a Berry Picking Basket.”

Hey friends! 👋 Back from a completely unintentional break, but life has just been...well...really busy. Between work, remodels, yard projects, and birthdays, the time has just sped by.

This year they didn’t mow our field of yellow flowers before we got to it. 💛 And now I’m enjoying a vase full of these yellow wildflowers picked by my very own (practically professional) flower picker. 🤪

What a weekend! We spent Saturday exploring bluebonnet trails in our area. Check out my stories for some BTS and tips for capturing these two flower field perspectives.

It’s FriYAY! What’s everyone’s weekend plans? We’re going to be attempting to fix up our flower beds this weekend since Snovid 2021 killed 1/2 our shrubs! 🥴
